Jacy Jayne declares main roster readiness in NXT interview

WWE NXT women's champion Jacy Jayne stated she feels prepared for a full-time promotion to the main roster and warned the Raw and SmackDown women's divisions. In an interview with Fox News Digital, the New Jersey native said she would have struggled if called up two or three years ago but now possesses the confidence to compete with anyone.

Jayne has spent about five years on the NXT roster, with brief main roster exposure on SmackDown in 2022 and her women's Royal Rumble debut in January. She captured the NXT women's title twice within a year, first defeating Stephanie Vaquer and then regaining it from Tatum Paxley. Her current reign exceeds 135 days.

Jayne heads into NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday night in St. Louis for a triple-threat title defense against Kendal Grey and Lola Vice. The event airs at 7 p.m. ET on YouTube. Vaquer received a main roster call-up months after Stand & Deliver 2025.

"I’ve been in NXT for about five years now," Jayne said. "I feel like if I got called up two or three years ago, it wouldn’t have ended well. I would have been gone by now." She added, "I feel now I’m ready. I know I can stand in the ring with anybody. I’m not intimidated. I can go with the best. So, I’m ready. Whenever they decide I’m ready, I’m going to be there, and I’m gonna take a spot. And all of them should be ready."
